Telling the Truth in a Compelling Way
Beauty can be seen as compelling truth. All journalism should begin with the truth as a baseline, but true journalism presents the truth with such force that it demands a response. It is the central role of photojournalists to give a face to the often sterile and overwhelming flow of information that permeates our modern world, and prevent the human side of events from getting lost in the morasse.

My initial foray into photojournalism centered about the George Floyd protests in Washington DC, and expanded to cover the various protests and public gatherings in the nation’s capital. More recently I've focused on culture, especially the various culture building initiatives in Northern Virginia, such as living history reenactors and public festivals.
